The Society for Ethics Across the Curriculum sponsors a competition for the best paper submitted by a graduate student for the annual conference. The winner will receive a $500 cash award and free conference registration, and will be formally recognized at the conference banquet. Submissions for the award will be considered for publication in the Teaching Ethics journal.
Submission instructions
The Society is committed to supporting graduate research and teaching. Graduate students are encouraged to submit papers addressing any aspect of ethics across the curriculum. Papers may use any theoretical or methodological approach or combination of approaches.
To be considered, student authors must indicate their interest in participating in the competition, upload a complete copy of their paper, and follow all submission guidelines found in the Society’s call for papers. Abstracts and papers co-authored with faculty will not be considered. The winning author is expected to present their paper at the annual conference.
